Some people live for McDonald's, almost. They go ballistic and dial 9 1 1 when they can't get their favorite drink, chicken nuggets or their sandwich a certain way.
So what, the little packets will be changed to little cups? If they have more ketchup in them, that's fine.
This is sure to raise a huge controversy. McDonalds is planning to change the way the ketchup is packaged from the squeeze package to a peel back "tub". I am very opposed to this. We have always enjoyed the way it is packaged now! What do you think? Will this replace health care and the economy as the issue of the day?New ketchup packet allows for dunking or squeezing - Yahoo! I was under the impression it was the Ketchup company (heintz) not Micky D's. Maybe I misunderstood, but either way, I think there are so many more problems in the world than how Ketchup is packaged..

Do you work in McDonald's PR department? There's nothing remotely "controversial" or interesting about this non-story.
It seems the new trend is, if you can't make the food taste better, reinvent the look of the package. Along with new and different, comes a higher price point.
Always hated the packets. Takes about 20 of them to get enough ketchup. I like it when they have the pump by the drinks and usually dump a ton of it on the burger wrapper.
I like the packets better when driving while eating fries. If you tear the packet at an oblique angle (or curved) and use a pointy fry to widen the opening - it's very easy to hold a packet in the left hand that's on the wheel, grab fries from the container in your cupholder with your right hand, dip, and eat. With a tub it's harder do do this - they're so bulky you're more likely to spill.
If I am not driving the tubs are fine.
(Tubs are not effective when trying to booby trap a toilet seat though)
