I find it amazing that the American media does not give much coverage to a higher percentage of Democrat and Republican politician's sons that are serving or have served in the Afghanistan and Iraq Wars!
This is a higher percenatage of U.S. Politicians with sons in the military than the general U.S. population!

Talk about a personal decision. Amazing young men, who could have done anything with their lives, but have chosen to join the U.S. Military.

*Senator Tim Johnson (D- South Dakota)

*Former Senator & Attorney General John ******** (R- MO)
His son, Andy, is in the Navy and has served in the GulF in support of the Afghanistan and Iraq Wars.
This is a little known fact, because ******** did not want to bring unwanted attention to his son and of course the left-leaning media never did a story on it, because that would hurt their agenda of hurting him.

Mayor Daley's Son Enlists In Army
VIDEO: Jon Duncanson reports.
(AP) CHICAGO Mayor Richard Daley's 29-year-old son, whose name and MBA from one of the nation's most prestigious universities would have opened doors to a well-paying career, has joined the Army instead.

The mayor said Tuesday he was very proud of son Patrick Daley's decision to enlist in the Army's airborne infantry. "He believes that is part of public service," the mayor said.

Default great information!

Thanks for posting this info. It's good to see that our men in uniform protecting our nation aren't from one single political party, or out for their own political gain.

Calling attention to the children of politicians serving in the war in some circles would be considered crass--it is perhaps for that very reason this does not appear in the media. Sometimes people do like privacy!

That's a good point, but I did find out about these articles, about politician's sons serving in the Military, through the MEDIA.

I understand the Democrat and Republican Politician woudl not want to call attention to their sons for security reasons and to not look crass, but that has NEVER stopped the media my friend.

I believe we do a disservice by not counting the number of women who are serving as well.

To date, 80 coalition women, 74 of whom were Americans, have given their lives in service during this war; most killed by hostile fire. While the percentage may be small, no life should go uncounted.

In this conflict, women are more in harm's way than they have ever been and it is time we acknowledge the jeopardy in which they are placed.

Tell me how many female family members of Congresspeople are serving?

Please tell me. I didn't find any daughters of Politicians serving in the U.S. Military. If I had I would have posted them.

Do you know of any? Feel free to post the information.

In this article I found while looking for daughters, I see Jim Webb would rather not share publicly his feelings, sentiments or family business, and most particularly information about his son's service record:
