I would presume in an open forum they would have every right to do that. Should the Dem somehow squash their say in the matter the world would be watching

Manipulated? NO!

Convinced by the hypocritical bleeding-heart NeoConfuseds who think it fine to spend uncounted taxpayer $$$ in lame attempts at nation building and who allege it's America's problem to fight other nations' battles while screaming SOCIALISM! at the mere mention of spending those same taxpayer $$$ to benefit America and Americans. If you want to talk about the easily manipulated you need look no further than the NeoConfused.

Why should the republicans pull their butts out of the fire? The democrats OWN, lock, stock and barrel the legislation, we have them on record voting for these monstrosities on a party line vote.

As Boehner and McConnell stated - IF the presidents agrees to start over from scratch, they would be willing to sit down at the table.

The GOP has the American people on their side.
Clearly, "the public" does not agree on everything. The Republicans are not willing to move forward on this or compromise in the least bit. They do not want to make progress because they are in bed with the insurance companies, this really has nothing to do with what the public wants. The public spoke when they elected President Obama and the public is tired of this foolishness from both sides.

Then explain to me why Democrats raised more money from the insurance industry than Republicans?

The public spoke for "change".. They didnt vote to completely change the american system known today.. You might have, but I guess that says more about your political feelings than I could ever say.

Polling has been done on what the American people want for health care.
The bill the Democrats put together doesn't meet what the American people want and neither does the GOP plan.

Hence why they should scrap the entire plan and start over. Give everyone a seat at the table, don't give special deals to buy votes, and represent what the citizens really want at a price that we can afford... which at this point may be in the negatives.

I agree they should start over.
I would rather the Democrats push for a single-payer system but with moderate and Conservative Democrats....it just won't happen.
Despite support for single-payer, the politicians just won't do it. They are more loyal to the health insurance companies, Big Pharma, etc. to do anything that benefits the American people.

You're confusing that with Obama and the Dem's health care reform attempts:
Insurers Poised To Gain From From Health Care Reform - Courant.com

The Republicans want to start over on reform so that what's explained in the above article doesn't happen. If Obama refuses to start over, why should the Republicans save him from his year-long health care reform disaster? Especially when the Dems locked the R's out of the negotiations, repeatedly. For example, how many R's did you see involved in the Louisiana Purchase, the Cornhusker Kickback, and the Unions' Sweetheart Deal?
