Stimulus Spending Hits $272 Billion—34 Percent of Total - ProPublica

The emergency is over. Let's cancel the remaining 66% and return those funds to people who actually know how to allocate them - the tax payer.

Of course the government would find a way to tax it.

This forum is... I want to say perplexing but that seems so inadequate.

On one hand we read a drum beat of comments that the stimulus hasn't worked, yet as the OP confirms just only a portion has been spent.

Then we have the OP arguing that despite the fact that remaining at or near 10%, that the emergency is over.

Perplexing, bewildering... just plain dumbfounding.

Which is why we haven't seen much inflation yet. President douchrag is going to spend it either on Democrat relection in the fall, or more pet projects and/or bribes next year. So when inflation hits hard elections are over for another 2+ years.

Whatever you do, DON'T be a retard and sell your gold, regardless of what these short term dips might indicate. You'll be very sorry.

If you MUST sell your gold, I pay spot price!
