I assume you don't realize how characteristically this post paints the right-wing into the follow-the-leader model. So inculcated in it are you that you can't imagine that others don't also adopt the pattern. Happy following...

Cindy Sheehan took some bad hits, and bad press. She is exhausted and said as much. As for losing her, she is only one among many trying to end the war, and although she will be missed by many on the front line, others will come to fill her place.

This war ain't popular!

Her son will surely have much more than fifteen minutes, many overlook the posturing and false bravado and take the time to understand and remember the true cost of this war.

I wonder how many war-mongerers on this forum have children fighting in Iraq.

Using terms like war-mongerers does nothing but escalate the rhetoric. Who are you addressing this to?

I feel sorry for Ms. Sheehan. She has been used by the left to further their agenda. She is full of grief anger and bitterness. What did she accomplish really?

well said spunky, I Agree, I just think that she was a true believer in what she thought was a principled cause, but when she started pointing the finger at the democrats, she became a liability & went from hero to zero in a hurry. Looks like she woke up to the fact that the anti war movement is more about politics than principle in the democrat party!

Parents surviving their children's death go through severe pain that others who have not experienced it can not fathom. Whether people agree with the war or not, you have to feel some sympathy for Ms. Sheehan. I think she was proactive in disagreeing with the war, when many people just sit at home and grumble about their discontent.
