"Half of all immigrant households with children are on welfare. HALF! These are supposed to be people doing "jobs Americans won't do." Sounds more like they're collecting government benefits U.S. citizens can't get!"
I'm not worried about them taking anything from me or mine, because we are not in the same economical status.
What is your real concern here?
This thinking is naive. We all pay for it. I've spoken to some of these people, and they genuinely believe there is nothing wrong with it and that it is a wonderful thing. It is odd, it is an innocent ignorance. But we all pay for their food, housing and medical care.

I am not against LEGAL immigration. That is, after all, what this country is about. Simply put, The United States of America would not be what it is without immigrants. We are ALL descended from immigrants, every one reading this - period.
However, immigration laws have been passed to stem the flow, those laws should be withheld, if not tightened. I would/will sign a petition barring illegals from residing in this country but not this one. This petition is nationalistic, that is way too far to the right . . . in my humble, very important and closely followed opinion.
