Peter Schiff was asked last evening on his radio show in 2 words who's most to blame. He said there were so many, but in the end...
Alan Greenspan
Only partisan hacks and political savant idiots believe it is squarely on Bush.
summers 73 !
Indeed that word .... "Idiots" is perhaps most descriptive to truly describe the "One Track Minds" of a few of the troublesome folks regarding
this well worn issue ! Thanks / Lamar
Why, because it didnt list a hundred things? Deal with it, virtually NOBODY blamed Obama and even fewer would have blamed him if they'd had all your individually-wrapped suggestions to choose from.
I didn't blame Obama for the onset of the crisis. I saw it coming since 2005 but we're what you call "right-wing internet whackjobs" according to partisan hacks like saggy et al. Since no one would listen to me, I helped myself to a lot of money in the market that helps to fund my current graduate studies very comfortably.
Blaming wall street is like blaming the guests who drank too much spiked punch. The free money was there courtesy of the Fed, and Wall St. took it. What would you do?
The majority without doubt lies on Greenspan and listening to Bush's childish insistence to keep interest rates low.
Suggesting that Greenspan would do anything Bush suggested indicates that you don't know which way the power flows. The FED controls the moolah, so they set the rules ... all of the rules. Any opposition to what the FED might do or want to do is purely theatre. Nothing more.
The largest tax cut in US history took place in 2009, and it is still in effect, and the help for small business also comes in form of additional tax cuts.
You have been listening to too much Limbaugh show to be that uninformed.
that was not a tax cut, what I mean by a tax cut is to fire 80% of all federal workers, disband the departments they are in, and give all that money back to the people in a massive tax cut over the period of 1 week.
what tax cuts was giving was miniscule compared to whet the federal goverment could have actually done.
