Who said Keith Olbermann is fair and balanced to both sides? Um...no one did. Actually, I wrote in a previous post that he's very liberal-biased, and frequently is accused of liberal bias. Maybe you should try reading what people have actually said before you respond?
Nope, didn't miss the Republican debate. Tivo-ed it and watched the whole thing. And, yeah, in my opinion, Chris Matthews is fair and balanced.

Ha! Just like physical beauty, fairness and sensing balance is in the eyes and ears of the beholders, given the diversity of responses. Another vote for the first ammendment.

Good question - I'd have to put Bill O'Reilly at number one and Rush at number two!

I voted for Maher, but Stewart and Colbert are equals. Colbert's "The Word" is ingenious. I would watch for that segment alone. I like Maher better on RealTime than I did on Politically Incorrect (although I didn't watch PI regularly) Sometimes PI turned into a freeforall. Maybe, it's better with three guests instead of four. Maher now can say exactly what he thinks without fear of retribution. I think Stewart has a great interview style.
I have questioned on what side of the aisle Matthews resides. As a speech writer for Carter I assumed he was liberal. But, I've come to the conclusion he's not biased. His brother did run as a repub in Pennsylvania. KO definitely liberal, although I read somewhere he claims to be an independent. For a conservative, I think Joe Scarborough is pretty fair. He usually has Buchanan, Joan Walsh from Salon (my favorite onine mag) and a third more middle of the road guest.

Bill O'Reilly, hands down. No explanation necessary. (There IS a reason his show is the #1 show on cable TV in ANY time slot.)

Back Street Boys had more #1 singles and sold more albums than anyone during their peak. So that's not saying much.

Mine is Keith Olbermann. I think he's extremely intelligent...the guy knows his stuff! He sticks to his convictions, and doesn't let anyone make him nervous...least of all Bill O'Reilly (whom I can't stand). He's also mastered the ability to be entertaining, while remaining serious and on-topic, without completely alienating his guests and viewers.
Plus, he's easy on the eyes...
