Your Favorite Talking Head...
Which political pundit is your favorite (if you have one), and why?
Mine is Keith Olbermann. I think he's extremely intelligent...the guy knows his stuff! He sticks to his convictions, and doesn't let anyone make him nervous...least of all Bill O'Reilly (whom I can't stand). He's also mastered the ability to be entertaining, while remaining serious and on-topic, without completely alienating his guests and viewers.
Plus, he's easy on the eyes...

Of these, Jon Stewart. He doesn't take himself so insufferably seriously.

I believe Tucker Carlson is the most fair pundit on the 24 hour news shows.
Tucker Carlson - Meet the faces of MSNBC - MSNBC.com
Tucker is a Libertarian who was against the Iraq War from day 1 and has been very critical of the Bush Administration and both parties.
I agree with Tucker on most issues, but I am a lonely Libertarian who actually supported the Iraq War. I think this has to do more with my bias having served in the U.S. Military and I want to see the U.S. Military succeed in Iraq and not have had so many heroes die in vain. I hate Bush.
Tucker dislikes both Parties and is fair and balanced in his political commentary.
I enjoy him the most.

Hmmm...it's interesting that you say that, because I tend to think that Tucker Carlson is one of the least fair/unbiased of the pundits I listed. To me, he seems to be very disproportionately biased against democrats and democratic issues/platforms, as opposed to conservative viewpoints/politicians. I do realize that he generally doesn't specifically like either party, however. It just seems to me that he favors the right more than the left, and he skews information to reflect his overwhelming disdain toward the left.
Funny how different people view dfferent pundits/journalists in completely different ways, huh?
FYI, even though I don't tend to agree with Tucker's political views and/or his tendency (in my opinion) to be disproportionately anti-liberal, I still watch his show a few times a week. But, then again, that may be because it's on right before "Hardball"...and Chris Matthews is one of my favorites. I think Matthews is the most fair and unbiased of them all.

We should have been able to vote for more then just one, however I was forced to narrow it down and went with Keith Olbermann.

Hmmm...I guess I've considered Anderson Cooper to be more of an advocacy journalist/anchorman than a political pundit. But, if you consider him to be your favorite talking head, I think you have every right!
If you want to take my poll, you can mark "other" for Anderson Cooper.
Edit: Nevermind, I see you picked "Jon Stewart." Good choice!
