I can't believe how many of these creatures are concerned about "keeping their blood line pure." Shoot, if they were really going to marry someone like them they'd have to wed another species cause the human strain has obviously left their bloodline long agon.

Interracial relationships provide a surefire way to not mistakenly marry your cousin or something. Though ironically I'm sure that's already done amongst detractors of interracial relationships.

Race and heritage are different things. A child can be of one race and of two or more different heritages. This is very often the case in white Americans.
I am sorry you feel confused by your heritage and identity. That is your personal experience, however that doesn't mean it is like that for everybody else. You can be biracial and bicultural and feel at ease and enriched with and by both sides of your racial and cultural makeup.
It's 2010 people, and times have changed; I must admit, but does an interracial relationship still ring "TABOO" and in our minds. I know sometimes I'll see an interracial couple and I feel like they're looking at me to see if I disapprove, or is it just in my head?. I have no problem with interracial relationships, but I'm curious if most of the public still does have a problem. So I want to know people of City-Data, how do you feel? Please let me see your opinions.. White men with Black Women, Black Men with White Women. Asian Men with White Women/vice versa.. Hispanic Men and Black Women ... you get my point.. let me know how you feel?
Why are you proud of it? How can you really be proud of being mixed? Why is anyone proud of anything?
I find it blatant hypocrisy that people talk about how ridiculous it is that anyone be "proud of being white", yet these same people talk all the time about how proud they are of being mixed. I don't know what system of brainwashing that has been done to the populous, but I am amazed. I guess the constant diversity cheerleading and diversity thought police have been very successful.
