Good thing you came back with a intelligent answer to my post. I'll take this as you don't have a real answer.

You're just speculating as do most people who don't know the whole story. for all we know the IRS was on his back in an abusive manner. who knows? they have been known to be Gustapo-like in thier collection tactics ya' know.

The IRS is a United States government agency and he railed against the agency in his "manifesto." He was a chicken-**** terrorist, just like your hero Timothy McVeigh.

I have to say, what exactly would you like us to read? Something that says when you're mad at the government it's okay to park a bomb outside a daycare center that happens to be housed in a government building? Something that says it's okay to fly a plane into an office building because you feel like you're being persecuted?

The problem with the IRS is that if you want to defend yourself against them in court, they seize your assets (except the assets that you can hide outside their reach) so you cannot afford a competent defense. I'm afraid to say that when the time comes, even the clerks will be seen as the enemy. No one shed a tear for the bureaucrats that were killed during revolutions and they are bastardized in history books.
