I don't think Ron Paul and Mitt Romney are jokes, although I agree that Repulican/Conservative ideology is somewhat broken (but then again, so is Democrat imo). I was dissapointed by Romney taking un-called for cheap jokes at Obama though. That is beneath him. Would definitely discourage me from considering him. Fwiw, I am an Obama voter - but do not (and will never) suscribe to a party.
