The only surprise to me is that it wasn't a gay nightclub.

You guys do know that Steele wasn't actually there, right?

Quote:
Washington (CNN) — A California-based political consultant who charged the Republican National Committee nearly $2,000 for a night out at Voyeur — a risqué West Hollywood nightclub now at center of the latest controversy surrounding RNC chairman Michael Steele — will return the money to the party, a committee spokesman told CNN Monday.

Erik Brown, president of the Orange County-based Dynamic Marketing, Inc., was re-imbursed in February for $1,946.25 worth of charges at the nightclub, according to the RNC's latest filing with the Federal Election Commission.

The Republican National Committee is looking into the expenditure of nearly $2,000 in party funds at a racy nightclub in West Hollywood, an episode that has added to questions about the management practices of Chairman Michael Steele

After all it is their or their party's money being used to develop team spirit within the group by sharing a culturally diverse activity. Where else would guys in Republican National Committee ever experience any lesbian interaction so they could know what they are opposing. It is not likely they do this at home or in the office.

As I said before, I hope they tipped the dancers really well. Dancing to get all those guys hard is work.

Here's a little up date:

""""the Daily Caller dropped this golden nugget of news. "A February RNC trip to California, for example, included a $9,099 stop at the Beverly Hills Hotel, $6,596 dropped at the nearby Four Seasons, and $1,620.71 spent [update: the amount is actually about $1,946.25] at Voyeur West Hollywood, a bondage-themed nightclub featuring topless women dancers imitating lesbian sex." Yes, you read that right."""

SO fiscally conservative.....while they object to money spent on Americans for health care....sick, sick, sick....Repubs!

Exclamation STEELE's Spending Spree and the GOP

"By Tuesday morning, even ardent Republicans were criticizing the lavish spending of RNC Chairman Michael Steele. So how much longer will he last in that job?

It would be extremely embarrassing for the Republican National Committee to have to oust its leader just months before the 2010 fall elections."
