I was quite amazed actually almost floored, to see Citgo's selling its gas for only $2.99/gallon. Normally I buy my gasoline from EXXON; but today, while driving, out of the corner of my right eye...I saw it. A great big $2.99 sign. I filled up and saved over $10 bucks.
Citgo has been generally lower here in New England, followed by the no-name gas stations. However, today Mobil was as low or as high as elsewhere (3.04/87).
You folks advocating that others should not buy CITGO have been hoodwinked! I do not recall the U.S. government ever telling the American people either directly or indirectly not to buy CITGO gas. As far as I am aware of, the U.S. government continues to buy oil from the Chavez government and is making money off of the American consumer by doing so. Meanwhile, those of you who follow this unofficial boycott, by driving by a lower priced CITGO gas station, to pay more somewhere else are the real losers. The government always comes out on top.

CITGO should have a special promotion: put a "Bush es El Diablo" bumper sticker on your car and gas is $1.00/gallon
