For what, acting like a killer whale? The thing is a predator. Would you be surprised if a mother bear killed a hiker who messed with her cubs?

Meh. Using animals for entertainment doesn't really bother me. Abuse bothers me, but if the animals are treated humanely I don't see a problem with teaching them some tricks for our amusement. I find it amusing.

I guess next we'll just have to outlaw animals altogether. Why..a cat scratched me the just the other day. Death to all cats!

This is silly. Wild animals are wild animals, no matter how long they've been in captivity, and everyone knows it. If people want to pay good money to watch them do tricks, let 'em. If others want to put themselves at risk, knowing fully well what could happen, let 'em. It's still a semi-free country. It would still be totally free except for do-gooders who want everyone else forced to believe like they do and use the power of government to do it.

We can't outlaw everything which might hurt us. Can we?

They need to just release him back to the wild. Even the family of the girl who died said that is what they want. Here is a another good article I found pertaining to Orca in the wild.

Mankind has domesticated animals since we could. The term Killer whale was given to these creatures because, like humans, they are very efficient pack hunters. In this case the orca was probably just playing.

On a domestic scene the development of artificial insemination has eliminated the need for dairy farmers to keep a bull on the farm. This has saved many, many farmers from injury and death by these critters. Just imagine having to deal with 2,000 pounds of testosterone addled bull on a daily basis. The creature is dumb as a post to begin and smelling a fertile cow does not make they any brighter. These things are big, dumb and dangerous.

Not the same thing, genius. Dogs have been domesticated for thousands of years. Timm, same thing with cats.

I'm not advocating a law, just common freaking sense.
