Obviously, you haven't read the pay-go bill and didn't understand either what the jobs bill point-of-order vote was about.

The fact that you dont see the problem in it, is your problem, not mine.. Are we going to have millions of americans tonight shouting "I want my MTV"? Ooh no!, lets spend $10B to give them what they want..
LOL. You know next to nothing about how "Washington works". That much was established long ago. The point here however is the hubris of Bunning -- and by extension, of all Republicans -- in putting themselves and their narrow partisan bitterness ahead of the interests of the American people, whether those be one million rural TV subscribers, tens of millions without any or adequate health insurance coverage, or simply all hundreds of millions of us combined. It's an attitude to be deplored acorss the board.

No one is talking about the jobs bill, we're talking about the unemployment bill and funding of said bill.. Unable to talk facts so you have to change the topic? Another typical response from you..

LOL, all the more reason these bills should be separate from one another. Clumping completely unrelated bills into one larger bill, then crying foul when one party opposes the passage or extension of part of the bill is ludicrous. Washington is defunct and inept... and all the more reason to limit its power and control.

Sixty votes to create an emergency/exception. Don't like it? Hey, send some e-mail to that shameless RINO Scott Brown and the other five Republicans who voted for it...

WRONG.. the point here is that Democrats passed paygo, and now just a few weeks later, what to violate THEIR OWN bill. Its Democrats not wanting to move $10B in funding (I believe thats the total) to pay for the bill, and the most comical part in all of this, is you are one of the very first people to blame Republicans for deficits. This DIRECTLY is one such example of deficits cause by DEMOCRATS not enforcing THEIR OWN RULE. The fact that millions of americans will lose their satellite service means NOTHING to me.. Nothing.. Losing satellite service does not equate to a national emergency and does not justify violating paygo.. PERIOD.. You can keep posting that people will lose some tv channels, but you arent making any browning points from deflecting from the Democrats who wont enforce THEIR OWN paygo rule.

Dont like it, maybe you should have thought about that before your party passed the bill.. Bills have consequences.. again, live with it..

Wow, 60 votes to create an emergency exception, but just ONE man holding up the unemployment compensation extension... Maybe you should find yourself ANOTHER individual to vote YES.. That is how it works..

Psst. It's not new legislation. It's a 30-day extension oif already existing law. See anybody else on the R-side staying up late with Bunning on this? Nope.

Actually, but as you don't seem to be able to recall, the matter was introduced -- and not by me -- in trying to excuse the inexcusable on Bunning's part by noting that his exalted miffedness results in part from Harry Reid's having bypassed a "bipartisan" jobs bill in favor of a different one, NOT described as having been "bipartisan", but which nevertheless picked up a dozen Republican votes in the process of passing and moving on to the House.

Browning points? You've been watching too much Rachael Ray. Again, Bunning is not blocking new legislation. It's existing law long ago debated, voted on and passed with all the loose ends tied up and all wrapped up with bows and ribbons. The only question is whether to extend ALL of that -- funding included -- for 30 days to allow time for regular review and reauthorization. Bunning's objection is purely and simply an example of petty, it's-all-about-me-now, vindictiveness. There is nothing more to it than that, and even the rest of his own hopeless party knows it. He's not a lame-duck, he's a dead-duck, and there isn't anybody who won't be delighted to see him gone.
