No president in the history of this nation has been so vilified, had his life repeatedly threatened and called a LIAR during a major speech by some bitter, angry senator for the world to see. Total disrespect, that never would have happened to a white president.
He has been called a Muslim, a Terrorist, UnAmerican, and some other names I can't post here.

Some people can't stand the fact that we have a Man of Color in the White House.
No he is Not a Black man! He is a MIX ans yes sorry his white half does count!

Despite what many will say, Obama's RACE is a factor. My dad lives a few blocks away from Obama's Chicago residence and the neighborhood is swarming with Secret Service personnel - maybe not as much as when Obama was first elected - but it is still there and it was due to the fact that Obama received MANY death threats when he became America's first black president.

I admire the man for taking on the job cuz I sure wouldn't. It is bad enough at the level of management I am because a black person is always considered dumb and inherently inferior and stupid until proven otherwise. Fortunately for moi I am highly skilled in what I do but it took me years to gain the confidence of the public. I hope Obama knew what he was in for because it is going to be a long bumpy ride. I hope his guardian angels are on the job.
It was widely reported that death threats against Obama had increased 400%,....only to be debunked in December of '09 by homeland security. Sullivan said that death threats against Obama were no greater than against the previous two presidents. And, Secret Service personnel swarm all over ANY place the POTUS visits.

Nothing new here...

The pulling of the race card has more to do with the classic liberal trait of "take no personal responsibility". Instead of facing real facts of how bad hussein obama is, they will offer an excuse. Their excuse for hussein obama is his race. They want to deflect the questions, the reality and his lies. He has lied more to the left wingers that bought his campaign snake oil, yet they still follow him like a sheep. WE knew he was a liar before he was elected.

Split him down the middle! don't agree with his black half, don't agree with his white half. It does not have anything to do with color, i wish some would stop the nonsense about the racial issue, that is not it. The reality is that i believe he was not ready to lead this country, and the Change that he has brought about, is not the Change we had hoped for. It is his method of business in D.C. that some don't approve of. His administration does not help him out any, like to see them all go by by to. It is the Man leading this Country, not his color, but his politics and agendas.

How many thousands of Americans have died as a result of these "lies"?

Why is it these "lies" are always asserted but explained away with more assertions.

Do I sense angst?

Not for nothing but so far all he's done continue business as usual implimented by Bush that the ranted against while campaigning, and push his trademark health care plan with little real attempt at bipartisanship.

He was elected because of his race & will go down in history as our first black President & nothing more. Sure wish it were different but its not.

Yup,
But they dont share much besides party affiliation. Obama is making it up as he goes along. He has no history or relevant experience to draw upon.
Hillery on the other hand hasn't swayed from her core principles, as unrealistic as they may be, since her Hubby made a mockery of the Oval office. She wants to turn us into the socialist states of America, her village so to speak & remove the vitality that individualism & liberty have always infused the American people with.

I wouldn't vote for either or support either of them but not for the same reason.

If you bothered to check the law, there has to be provable criminal activities performed, not just opinions and accusations. This makes your statement simply wrong.

We do, however, have an election in 2012 coming up and then so long Obama...

Unfortunately that does not apply to all that disagree with him, more than a couple of posters have proven that here.
