founders of the free market? where are the quotes from jefferson, and each of our founding fathers? the person you have listed is not a founder, just a follower.

Did you even bother to read the links provided in this thread?

Are you trying to say that Dr. Anna Schwartz and Milton Friedman were not responsible for the virtual dominance of free market economic theory until the recent crash?

the founders of our free markets were our founding fathers, because without them there would be no such thing as a free market in the USA.

I think it goes back even farther than that, to perhaps the Middle Ages.

So its not the case that Milton Friedman and Anna Schwartz's economic ideology has been creed for the past 30 years (in the US bloc and globally post USSR) because we have been doing economics no different than centuries ago, going back to the Middle Ages?

If there was ever an initiative that should receive universal support and praise its this one.

I agree that was the state of economics at the time, unfettered capitalism.
