Well, the name "Greenland" should have been changed to "Iceland" accordingly long ago, and then back to "Greenland" once the ice melts and the land turns green .
Greenland has been the victim of a massive global cooling, and is only just now recovering.

Surely you knew that Greenland got its name during the Middle Ages when Norsemen farmed and lived there. Back in the days when the Earth was so much warmer than it has been since.
LOL. No, the Vikes named it Greenland to attract people to move there. It was a mean joke. It was miserable even during the best times. It was not all joke though, because the southern tip of Greenland is actually green in the summer.
I'm hoping for acid rain to make a comeback. That and bell-bottoms.
