I understand why - this is a Christian nation - your protestations notwithstanding.

Maybe one of you could have the courage to answer a direct question.

1. If this is a christian country, what EXACTLY does that MEAN?

2. If all the people who oppose you changed their minds and agree that this is a 'christian nation"

WHAT WOULD CHANGE?

3.If YOU changed your mind and agreed this wasn't a "christian nation" what would change???

C'mon, step up! Answer those very pertinent questions....you've argued for days over a LABEL...explain....

A. You don't know where they all looked for wisdom.

B. PRIDE is one of the 7 Deadly Sins. Those who insist OUR country is named after THEIR religion are SINNERS.

Then why did they leave god, the bible and Jesus totally and completely out of the Constitution, their blueprint for "creating the greatest nation in history"??

I don't think they burned any in US. Do you have a link

I am using them to remind people that States can sponsor Christianity, and it is not against the Constitution 1st Amendment.

I take my marching orders directly from the Republican conservative saint who clarified the doctrine of religion and government. Therefore my answer is an emphatic NO!. This not and never was a "Christian Nation."

Where in the Constitution does it lay the ground work for using the bible for anything??

FWIW, I've reported for jury duty regularly for the past 20 years and I haven't seen a bible in a MDC court room in all that time. It's just "raise your right hand a repeat after me. I solemnly swear to....."

You would probably do better with a comic book today than a bible anyway.
