It has already been explained to you that the Treaty of Tripoli was not written by the founding fathers and nor was it a legal document.
The treaties language had more to do with politics and reassurance then with any actual validity.
You really have nothing beter to fall back on then a 200+ old treaty which went out of effect soon after it was drafted?
I understand why - this is a Christian nation - your protestations notwithstanding.

Maybe one of you could have the courage to answer a direct question.
1. If this is a christian country, what EXACTLY does that MEAN?
2. If all the people who oppose you changed their minds and agree that this is a 'christian nation"
WHAT WOULD CHANGE?
3.If YOU changed your mind and agreed this wasn't a "christian nation" what would change???
C'mon, step up! Answer those very pertinent questions....you've argued for days over a LABEL...explain....
It always has been and always will be a Christian nation. I find it amazing that people don't understand the founding fathers looked to the Bible for the wisdom to help create the greatest nation in history.
A. You don't know where they all looked for wisdom.
B. PRIDE is one of the 7 Deadly Sins. Those who insist OUR country is named after THEIR religion are SINNERS.

Then why did they leave god, the bible and Jesus totally and completely out of the Constitution, their blueprint for "creating the greatest nation in history"??

It is not left out. Even today people swear with the hand on the Bible
I take my marching orders directly from the Republican conservative saint who clarified the doctrine of religion and government. Therefore my answer is an emphatic NO!. This not and never was a "Christian Nation."

Where in the Constitution does it lay the ground work for using the bible for anything??
FWIW, I've reported for jury duty regularly for the past 20 years and I haven't seen a bible in a MDC court room in all that time. It's just "raise your right hand a repeat after me. I solemnly swear to....."
You must not spend much time in courtrooms. I've never seen a bible in a courtroom, and when I swear witnesses in I never have them swear "so help me god".
You would probably do better with a comic book today than a bible anyway.
