Harris County Judge rules death penalty unconstitutional - 3/04/10 - Houston News - abc13.com

Finally someone is speaking out! I am all for getting rid of the death penalty! Too bad he's just a local judge.

Meaningless and the DA can just avoid filing in her court. She seems to have delusions of her power really. Ignoring the highest court in the land no less. She is headed for trouble in the judical sytem because she can be filed on with judical council by the DA. Its no laughing matter she will find.We had a local judge to something similar on hios won and he was removed by the council.

She is likely to see she is not the judge on this also. Like a police officer ignoring the law she is a officer of the court and bound by rules and the penalty can be strong.e don't want the next judge to carry out the death sentence because he believes it.Rule of law applies to judges also.
