Someone's opinion is that they cannot label him on the right or the left to use as propaganda. Read his manifesto and see if any of this stuff rings true. Not condoning his actions, but what drove him to this is not a right or left issue...it concerns all of us.
Very importantly, this criminal group could use its control of the United States monetary system to print money to advance its own purposes of theft, control and enslavement. Such an organization would be able to protect its shipments of illicit drugs into the United States while using the power of law enforcement organization to imprison their would-be competitors, and would subsequently be able to distribute those illicit drugs and launder the enormous profits in the huge and minutely-regulated financial markets of the United States. This criminal organization would use its powers to convert military, intelligence and law enforcement bureaucracies into instruments for political control and the domination and subjection of society while discrediting, destroying and murdering honest individuals within those services that work to root out corruption and faithfully serve their fellow citizens.

It's on the front page of cnn.com. I don't think a lot of people are posting his online postings as fact yet since they cannot verify it is him, but it's been reported on many MSM sites and shows. I don't quite understand why people think it's not being covered, as I've seen tons of coverage on it last night and today...
The shooter, identified by a law enforcement source as John Patrick Bedell, appears to have railed against the government repeatedly on the Internet.
Through podcasts and a Wikipedia page, a man identified online as JPatrickBedell cast the government as a criminal force destroying personal liberties.
"This seizure of the United States government by an international criminal conspiracy is a long-established reality," the man said in a podcast in November 2006, which also was published as text online.
Such an organization, the man said, "would use its powers to convert military, intelligence, and law enforcement bureacracies (sic) into instruments for political control and the domination and subjection of society, while discrediting, destroying, and murdering honest individuals within those services that work to root out corruption and faithfully serve their fellow citizens."

There is no in depth coverage, just coverage of what happened. It will "go away" like all the rest of the stories.

Quite frankly I'd like to see less media coverage of these wack-jobs. Why give them the 15+ minutes of fame they were seeking? Doesn't the media saturation of such rimes only encourage other psycopathic/sociopaths to go out and seek similar atttention?
I will tell you the truth. As soon as I read about this guy I actually found myself wondering which member of our CD family would no longer be posting on the forum. Truth!
Even if what that guy apparently believed is true (Who knows? It may be), what good did it to do shoot two ordinary policemen? How would their deaths have advanced whatever goals he was aiming at?
It was just another senseless act of violence, one driven by fear. We see such fear expressed right here every day on a hundred different subjects. From health to Obama, from terrorist's to the government, we are a nation awash in fear of something. Being fearful inevitably results in someone tripping over the line and taking it upon themselves to "save" us from something. This guy is just another in a long line of people who have commited acts of violence because their fear drove them to the brink of insanity.
How many more must we endure before we learn not to fear, not to be driven by fear, not to be manipulated by fear?

I agree that what these people do in protest is insane, but the underlying issue is what needs to be exposed. That is the problem these days. We do not have real journalism. The media jumps all over Hollywood sensationalism and crap that does not have a deeper story. In my previous post I gave a link to what this guy had a connection to in some way. The cover ups in governement do exist and too often the American people are lied to and used as pawns.
