If she went to a doctor across the border because it was closer to where she lives (you would be amazed at how many border dwellers do this on both sdes), it is nothing but the left wingers lame attempts to attack her.

Breaking News: Canada didn't have a single payer system until 1984 and long after Governor Palin would have crossed the border with her parents to receive health care.
You also seem to have missed what those of us close to a Canadian border instantly understood as the irony to which she was referring. What is ironic is a person who is now an American politician having ever crossed into Canada for health care when it is now such a scandal in Canada that so many of their own politicians have come to the US for life saving treatments unavailable or otherwise restricted by Canada's single payer system.
See, when push comes to shove, they would rather trash their own political careers in Canada than die on a waiting list.

But at the time she says her family snuck into Canada to break the law and use Canadian Government Health Care, there was NO SUCH THING.
