Not as long as they've got gut Volk like you to defend it

Could she have gone to the prom with another girl incognito? I submit that yes she could have. What would have kept her from doing so?

I do concur.

But I still say this isn't a "christian" issue. It was just people being people...whatever kind of people they are.

From what I have read, she thought she was doing the right thing by asking permission.

Sounds kind of 'Stepford Wives'to me- the small town conspiracy aspect of it with all of the parents and school officials involved in the deception- very creepy- and not very Christian- these type of far right Christians give the religion a bad name- Christ would have danced with those two girls-

Why should she have to hide who she is? People should just learn that inthis day and age this sort of discrimination is just wrong-

She asked, and she got an answer she didn't like. If she was genuinely respectful of the process, she would have been genuinely respectful of the outcome. But she wasn't. She filed a lawsuit and therefore was treated like shiite. Was it the best display of human or Christian behavior? Absolutely not. But I don't see why anyone should be surprised. The townsfolk were offended and they responded in kind.

What process? The honest, fair legal process, or the town's preferred process?

I dont know how anyone can defend hate and spite and cruelty. Why do you, AeroGuy?
Whatever process she thought required her to ask permission. The lawsuit was a long way away from that point in time.

Re-read my posts. I have pointed out how unChristian-like it is.

You didnt point anything out at all; you finally just admitted, allowed as how, with a weak lukewarm nothing expression, "unChristian-like."

Oh well, I'll leave you to your happy thoughts and book of black and white photos of the good old days
