Simple logic should pretty much tell you that can't be true.

Sad to have to reach that far back in history to intimate some sort of "payback".

Payback? they are theoens who made civil disobedience ok under law and haven't stopped yet. Rememeber the last G20 conference here;not anicent. Heck thier are church burning even to this day by those who ahte religion.Look at europe where they kidnap compoany officals all i the name of unionism. Its nothig new and has contiued to thsi day all over. I see no violence except for a few incidents. The sargeant at6 arms for the congress ahs sjust said there have been no rise in threats from usual. Its all to justify some crackdown or to silence voices nothing more. The courts have long ago ruled o0n such things after the liberals sued;so they know aht can be done.

There will not be race riots if Obama loses in 2012. But if morons like Palin are called to the helm, there WILL be race riots. And THEN ...all you Tea Partiers can bask in destructive and confused happiness of your new hypocritical commader in chief or leader. Race riots encouraged by the white, scared and hillbilly right are the current concern. Palin fuels their mission but the funny thing is , she is NOT one of them. Palin's "common sense" platform is a ploy to gain the respect and support of numerous American citizens who are frankly too stupid to read between the hypocrisy. This is her legacy and it is a dark and lame one.

"Teabaggers" are the far-left libs who constantly accuse the Tea Party people of all the evil that in fact resides in the "teabaggers'" dark souls. If they have souls.

It is union thugs and the angry leftists who are violence-prone. Making believe it's others does not make it so.

The History Place - Impeachment: Bill Clinton
Quote:
With closing arguments completed, the Senate began three days of closed-door deliberations on the two articles of impeachment, with each senator limited to 15 minutes of speaking time. Senate Democrats had attempted, but failed, to open this process to the public via television.

On Friday, February 12, television cameras were once again turned on inside the chamber and senators gathered in open session for the final roll call. With the whole world watching, senators stood up one by one to vote "guilty" or "not guilty." On Article 1, the charge of perjury, 55 senators, including 10 Republicans and all 45 Democrats voted not guilty. On Article 3, obstruction of justice, the Senate split evenly, 50 for and 50 against the President.

With the necessary two-thirds majority not having been achieved, the President was thus acquitted on both charges and would serve out the remainder of his term of office lasting through January 20, 2001
He was impeached by the house of Representatives but, acquitted by the Senate. In this situation the House of Representatives brought the accusation against Clinton, THAT was the "impeachment". He was acquitted by the Senate, not removed from office. The "impeachment" was dropped.
Impeached - Definition and More from the Free Merriam-Webster Dictionary
Quote:
1 a : to bring an accusation against b : to charge with a crime or misdemeanor; specifically : to charge (a public official) before a competent tribunal with misconduct in office c : to remove from office especially for misconduct
