Sound familiar, Libby is payback for dna on a blue dress!

Somebody want to check the back forty? Sounds like the grapes are getting sour out there
If anything was going to be payback for the blue dress witch hunt, and we know that was a witch hunt because a Republican body failed to convict, GWB's hearings would be going on right now.

She was as the CIA admitted and facts show that the White House is responsible for the leak and that the leak was for political purposes. Not only was Mrs Wilson's identity leaked, but that of her front company exposing them and putting many people at risk, as well as damaging covert relationships and likely loss of intel.
Only a few powerful people were involved in this crime and they circled the wagons. Since they lied and stonewalled, complete justice can't be done, but Scooter failed to at least do the right thing when questioned and he'll pay for it.
You obviously have NO clue as to what you are talking about. I suggest you read up, or stop making a fool of yourself.
Of course the infotainers and their fast food tell you what to think and say, but as usual Rush, Hannity and the others are wrong.
A major crime was committed against our national security and it originated from the highest levels of the White House.

You can continue to (try to) sell whatever you want, but it doesn't replace FACTS.

The U.S Government's position in regards to Plame's lawsuit:
Quote:
U.S. District Judge John D. Bates asked: "So you're arguing there is nothing -- absolutely nothing -- these officials could have said to reporters that would have been beyond the scope of their employment," whether the statements were true or false?
"That's true, Your Honor. Mr. Wilson was criticizing government policy," said Jeffrey S. Bucholtz, deputy assistant attorney general for the Justice Department's civil division. "These officials were responding to that criticism."
|
The suit claims that Cheney, Libby, Rove and former deputy secretary of state Richard L. Armitage violated the couple's privacy and constitutional rights by publicly revealing Plame's identity in an effort to retaliate against Wilson. Plame's identity was disclosed in a syndicated column in July 2003, days after Wilson publicly accused the Bush administration of twisting intelligence to exaggerate Iraq's nuclear threat and justify an invasion.

IMHO the biggest threat to our national security is the gang in the White House. Compared to them the rest of the bunch are mere annoyances.

The problem is that they could only get him for obstruction of justice (for now). But, with this weak Congress, I doubt this will go any further, unfortunately, even though the fiasco begs further investigation.

WASHINGTON (AP) - Former White House aide I. Lewis ``Scooter'' Libby's hopes of avoiding prison in the CIA leak case began to dim Tuesday as a federal judge ruled he could face a longer sentence because the investigation he obstructed was so serious.
Libby, the former chief of staff to Vice President Dick Cheney, is the highest-ranking official convicted of a crime since the Iran Contra affair

After all the problems he has caused he deserves to go to prison.

Funny that the Bush administration has so many of these people working for them and they all have a poor memory and can’t answer questions when in a legal court of law. Court of law – isn’t that what this nation is all about “a nation of laws”?
I’d love to know who Scooter’s bunk buddy will be?
