Could someone give me a true answer? thanks
The reason why there are only 'right wing' radio programs today is because the media is all about hype.

Anything that's eye or ear catching can be used along with gossip and lies added on to it for rating boosts.
The fact is that as of 2008, we have a Democrat in the office as well as an historic event, such as for the first time having a US President who is not white.

So until the end of Obama's term, the right wing media programs will lead the ratings chart because this Historic Presidential term will give them plenty of opportunities to fill the media with lies, hype, & gossip. And as I said before, this is what attracts certain viewers / listeners.

Sad to say that certain listeners will continued to be informed with toxic media from those right wing entertainers.

I listen to America Left on Satellite radio in the car (XM/Sirius). Randi Rhodes is also available on one of the talk stations while I am driving home from work (4pm - 6pm but I can't remember the exact name of the station).

I do occasionally listen to America Right also for the entertainment factor.. Hannity, Levin et al know their audience and play them like a violin ... it's totally reminiscent of the WWF and is a little sad but it does appear to work.. They are very angry people.

I think it's because most liberals have the ability to think for themselves and dont' need a sheep herder to tell them what to think.

I remember when there were only liberal talk radio, and they would have a token moderate or conservative in off hours, the biggest in seattle had Limbaugh when he was first going national then they booted him, I think that station is now airnig japanese cooking recipes.

Radio is a dying medium. They aren't getting any younger listeners. It's hilarious to hear Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh talk about fiscal responsibility when they work for bankrupt Clear Channel. Part of the reason CC is bankrupt is because of the huge contracts they gave those 2 about two years ago.

It's called capitalism.

Nobody wants to hear the equivalent to Jimmy Carter's malaise speech and hear it's all the listener's fault as a talk show.

Please explain why there are only right wing radio programs?
There are left-wing radio programs, but not too many people have the stomach to listen.

Air America went belly up. Rhandi Rhodes, Shultz, Marshall, they are out there, but can't compare to the right.

Of course, that is why the dems/libs would like to implement the fairness doctrine once again.

Urban Dictionary? Really? You're really using that as your source?

No wonder you didn't link to it. I'd be embarrassed to link to it, too.
