For nearly 30 years, India and Bangladesh have argued over control of a tiny rock island in the Bay of Bengal. Now rising sea levels have resolved the dispute for them: the island's gone.

The right continues to be in denial of the effects of global warming.
I guess tree huggers are overreacting, again.

The way the Republicans are descending into total ignorance it won't be long for the rest of Americans to dismay anything they have to say [esp anything related to smart issues like science]. They believe the world is only 6000 yrs old so God will cool it down if we all pray!

Then please, explain to us all informed one. Please, show us the science that takes us from the events happening and directly connects it to man. Do this scientifically, not politically.

Whats that? Oh, you will pass? Better to walk into a thread ignorant of the topic and then spout off a political bias.

Here is a cookie, run along.

When politics determines science, as your post points out, it ceases to be science.

I love the part where they gloss over that it is a localized effect only in the Bay of Bengal. I personally would be wondering where the volcano is, since that is what usually causes water levels to rise like this, case in point what is currently happening at Yellowstone National Park.
