Fact is the overwhelming MAJORITY of Americans did not want this bill at all and he same want the Rep and the 34 Dems who worked for their people do fight this to the end.

This bill is illegal and against the US Constitution and if you are for it then you are wanting to tear apart the US Constitution to do it.

If there is any reality I buy into it is the "Petersonian Reality" who is a Dem. Rep from MN...

Peterson explains 'no' vote on health care reform | INFORUM | Fargo, ND
Grayson had a simple plan for individuals to take health insurance into their own hands and Denny had a similar proposal for states.

Both were deficit neutral.

Perhaps those that did not like this current plan that is now law should have made those other plans known to the public instead of being content with many saying no and spreading irrational fears.

And yes, Happy, I just made a thread about why public campaign finance reform is necessary to have a government that works.

Capitol Hill lobbying courtship goes a little something like this.

When the lobbyist asks for the Dem's submission, the Dem will say no when they mean maybe, once you up the ante and will say maybe meaning lets have a back door rendezvous.

The formerly known as conservatives will just bust out the lubricant and get down to business.

A rather schizo poll which doesn't trend the way the OP might like.

Buried in the Details;

41% approved, but after the vote that number goes up to 47%

46% thought passing the bill was a major accomplishment before the vote, which rose to 52% afterwards.

37% disapproved of the poll before the vote, which rises to 42% after the vote.

Aren't polls fun?

If Congress does not fund Healthcare each year then it dries up. Obama signed the bill into law but Congress has to fund it,each year, just let it wither on the vine.
