Actually the Supreme Court can hear the constitutional challenges rather soon. Most likely within a 1 year timeframe. They can expedite the challenge due to the number of cases involved, the seriousness of the matter, and to stop different federal courts from trying the same case all across the country, and just lump them all together..

I've seen the link before. Soon as you tell me how healthcare insurance cross the state line, I'll agree that the commerce clause holds relevance..
Why don't you tell us where you went to law school? The big insurance companies already sell insurance in "the several states". They just set up different entities in each state where they do business, in accordance with the laws of that state.

You disputed your own argument.. DIFFERENT entities sell in DIFFERENT states.

ps I have had some law school experience while obtaining my business experience, in addition to spending YEARS fighting some lawsuits in the court system. How about you?

I work in a profession (nursing) that always has the lawyers looking over our shoulders. I've never been sued.

BTW, the information from our insurance company refers some sections as "for Colorado customers only". That is tacit admission that they are doing business in several different states.

But its a hell of a lot more accurate than any law professor at Haaavvvard, or Yale.

Those dolts stood by and encouraged this mess. While the leaders (vomit, opportunists) distroyed freedom.

No, its most likely an admission that they obtain documents from a contractor who does business in several states. There is a fine line these corporations walk, but they are usually very careful not to cross them..

It's too much of a stretch to say the interstate commerce clause gives the feds the authority to force every individual to buy private insurance.

what everyone has posted here is an opinion, an opinion form somebody who isn't going to rule on this case. This bill is in a lot of grey areas, there isn't really any precedent for some of it. It is going to be an interesting case and only a partisan could say right now that it is surely to succeed or fail.
