That's Great! Just like unemployment is down from 2009.

Now the bad news-

1. unemployment is still near 10% and that is bad
2. Pork spending is still very high and is at greater levels than the Bush years.

Carter is learning about relativism. When one is only 70% burned after a terrible accident, it feels so much better than being 80% burned.

That is liberal logic for you.

WCH, I never said, nor did I infer that it is not at high levels. The very fact that it is down is a positive sign.

Default More proof that T-Baggers don't know what...

They're protesting against. Of course for thinking people more proof isn't necessary, for T-Baggers none is accepted.

So, what are the two big complaints from the T-Baggers?

1. Obama is killing us with his high taxes, and
2. Government pork is out of control.

So, let's look at the FACTS.

From Bruce Bartlett (see Bush administration) in "Forbes" magazine; "the fact is that no American, anywhere has had his or her taxes increased as a result of Obama's policies". And then this; "federal taxes are very considerably lower by every measure since Obama became President".

I'm sure the screams of "RINO" and "Apostasy" will be heard all over the land, and read here.

98.6% of working families saw their taxes decrease in the first year of the Obama administration. This is because more than ONE THIRD of the dreaded stimulus was in the form of TAX CUTS or TAX CREDITS, mostly for individuals. So, guess what T-Baggers, that makes Obama the BIGGEST TAX CUTTING PRESIDENT IN HISTOR. Buh-bye Ronnie Reagan's golden claim to fame!

So, on to the second big complaint; "crazy spending liberal Democrats!" How does that one hold up? Not so well it turns out:

According to the independent group Citizens Against Government Waste, which every year publishes its "Pig Book". According to them pork projects have DECLINED 10% since FY 2009 and their cost has declined 15%. Of course the BIGGEST YEAR EVER for pork was 2006, when the REPUBLICANS controlled both houses of Congress and the White House. No T-Baggers back then though.

One other thing, the biggest sow at the government trough when it comes to pork, who is the NUMBER ONE PORKER?

It turns out that would be REPUBLICAN THAD COCHRAN of Mississippi.

So, will any of you brave T-Baggers be out recruiting someone to run against Cochran today? Or will you be like the rest of them, enjoying your Social Security Medicare and government funded schools, fire and police departments and government roads?

Funny that there were no T-Baggers in 2006, but back then the Capitol was in control of the Rs and the WHITE House was just that.

Wow!

So the record deficits, the national debt over $12 trillion, the unsustainable burden of social programs, and a foriegn policy designed to alienate our allies was all in our minds? Thank goodness. I thought the nation was going to hell in a handbasket, but thanks to your information, I know it was just a nightmare and when I wake up Bush will be in office and none of this ever really happened. I guess that $ trillion dollar "stimulus" (or porkulus) never occurred?

And when the Bush tax cuts expire, EVERYONE'S taxes go up in 2011. That is even without the additional taxes for Obamacare already made. Now how will everyone fare when they start the VAT tax as well?

The good old days of Bush were A LOT better then the crappy ole days of one socialist spend a buck for nothing named Bubba Obama.

The fool in the WH is spending our tax money and we are getting ZERO for it.

This is mid April and they are already coming out that another record month of foreclosures.

How many more people are going to be homeless thanks to bubba's wrongful spending?

And to think those homeless people do get to vote and they know who caused them to lose their homes.

Jobs, must not be important as Obama has not talked about them or has no solution to create any.

What happened to that team of genius financial gurus who was going to help Adlof Jr create millions of jobs?

NEGATIVE 9 million jobs thus far under Obama. No wonder Obama is setting records for most foreclosures ever.
