I volunteered with the Obama campaign, traveled to DC for the inauguration, had a blast at the California Democratic Party celebration int he National Air & Space museum - and I am not for one second denying that there were some people in the campaign who were so fixated on the person of then-candidate Obama, it was absolutely scary. Not as many as some on the right made it out to be, but they were there.
Yet I have never, not then, not now, happened to come across anyone as focused on Obama as your posting history seems to make you - although, of course, your approach is from the other side.
As fun as a dueling photo-ops thread can be from time to to time, has it ever occurred to you that the impact of your criticism is diluted when you focus on this sort of minutia?

Yeah, this was when Obama promised to the troops that they would be home soon. So much for that promise...
I don't know why the leftists have such thin skin. Obviously, the LATimes thought the comparison of presidential styles and troop reaction was worthy. If its good enough for the LATimes, surely its good enough to post here.
For the first time in a year Obama flew in for a few hours in the middle of the night to basically tell them they are going to be there for a long time because he AGREES with this war.
The media stressed the point that this was "his inherited war" as I am sure they were instructed to do so little barry will be able to continue to blame Bush for everything.

He went there to meet with the generals, not just to get a photo-op. I can see why you're confused on that point since the last president was a master at getting meaningless photo-ops with the troops.
