After devoting several stories to unsubstantiated allegations of racism and spitting by Tea Party protesters last weekend, the Times almost ignored an actual death threat made against a top Republican, Rep. Eric Cantor of Virginia, the No. 2 Republican in the House, that resulted in the first actual arrest since the alleged wave of threats against politicians began.

Times Watch is one of my favorite places to read about the al Times of New York, as I called the NYT for about 6 years. It is something how they have to back off so fast because they learn about what the rest of us knew last week.
