He bilked the station for a lot of money, I'm sure. If they did not get what they paid for it would not be the first time. I think that Cooper has to take some of the blame.
I wouldn't pay him a dime for not providing the interview he promised when he took the contract to appear. Then you would be breaking a legal contract unless there were certain promises made in that contract that were not met.

It's really quite simple. Nothing is really quite simple where interviews and contracts are involved.
________

The gravity of refusing to deploy in a time of war is not an opinion.
It is a fact.
Geez. No one said there was no gravity involved, this is obviously a very big decision for him but, until he is tried everyone has an opinion on how they feel about him and the situation.

I wonder if you were around during the Vietnam war when a lot of people went north to Canada. If you were, or know about it, do you have the same opinion of the draft dodgers.
Again...answers in bold.

Unlike you, I do not believe that reviewing the UCMJ for a couple of hours would make me an expert able to be judge, jury and executioner.

Even if Obama were to produce his vault certificate today Lakin still goes on

I just watched the interview... how sad.

This political hack of a lawyer is going to walk his client right into Leavenworth.

It was Obama who ordered troops into Afghanistan and it is those orders that he is refusing to obey.

Cooper was trying to deflect from the issue, bringing up his superiors in the chain of command. None of that matters in this issue.

He also repeated falsehoods that the lawyer easily refuted with the actual statute.

This is amazing!

YouTube - INTERVIEW: Anderson Cooper VS. LTC TERRY LAKIN

Jensen, the ambulance chaser (http://lawyers.law.cornell.edu/lawyer/mr-paul-rolf-jensen-79510 - broken link), states that the Hawaii's director of health Dr. Chiyome Fukino, "... she is not going to be testifying at the court martial." Dude, you are either insane of absolutely incompetent. If by some miracle the trial judge allows Lakin to explore this birth certificate angle the custodian of record sure in the hell is going to be called as a witness, if not by the defense then you can be damned sure that the prosecution will!!!

The second most incredulous quote of the evening (not that there were a lot of quotes to work with) was when Jensen argues, "this is criminal case [damned right it is - Catto] and the President should release the original birth certificate and this will be over tonight."

OVER tonight?

For who???

Not LtCol. Lakin!!!

The only thing that Jensen got right was that this is going to be criminal case! Lakin's not Obama's. They can produce a birth certificate stating that Obama was born on Mars, and while it will be over for the Birthers, Lakin will still have to answer for the two charges, missing movement and disobeying a direct order!

The last incredibly idiotic statement, "these other documents and testimony are not admissible and will not be admitted in court!''

What is wrong with the bar association that allows lawyers like this hack and Orly to practice law on poor tools like Lakin?

IF, and I am talking about a huge IF, Lakin is even allowed to enter into testimony the issue of Obama's birth certificate, I will bet my daughters college tuition fund that the first thing the prosecution is going to do is to introduce the very birth certificate that Obama has already released followed by the Hawaii's custodian of record, Dr. Fukino to certify that it is true and valid. And that ladies and gentleman, boys and girls will be the end of that line of questioning.

I wonder if the chain of possession of this piece of TP you refer to can be fully established. I mean who ordered it from Hawaii, (it would have had to have been Obama right?), is there a receipt for that order (again it would have had to have been Barrack Obama who ordered it because of the law or was it?), Once Obama received it were did it go from there, when and who did the several news outlets and who posted it on the net get it from, where is it now? If it is made available, as you say it will be, will it be able to be analyzed by a documents forensic specialist that is neutral to determine it authenticity?

I am sure that Lakin is doing all of this to find out the answers to these questions.
