the army (I retired in 2005) doesnt go too hard on 'lite' crimes.
he just like the officer that would ship to Iraq (he stated he wanted to go to afgan, not an 'unconstititional' war) will just be discharged, with time served, and most likely a general (NOT a dishonorable) discharge
but the admin doesnt help the situation either...there have been questions asked, and they answers have been dodged......(like why does the CiC's grandmother state he was born in kenya????, like why is the BC that was released a 'reissue' from 2003, not an original from 1962)
the admin has been less than cooperative or truthful
I belive he was born in Hawaii....it would be nice to see the 'powers that be' show the evidence to that fact, instaed of 'hoping it will go away'

like I said,,, I think he was bon in hawaii, and is the POTUS.... but you would think HE HIMSELF would want to SETTLE these questions.......I am ht e same age as him....I have my ORIGINAL certificate of 'live birth' from the hospital, and the ORIGINAL STATE issued birth certificate....AND... I also have the REISSUE (from when they changed the certificates in the late 70's) birth certificate............why has he ONLY posted the reissue, and not the original......questions must be answered, at least someday

listen to the whole tape ( or read the complete transcripts ). she says repeatedly that obama was born in hawaii. the "kenyan birth" portion seems to be a matter of miscommunication. either in the translation or which obama was being discussed ( junior or senior ).

We referred to them as AWOLs, and deserters, before, during, and after paperwork was being processed. Most of the time, the paperwork isn't even started until well after the fact. Like weeks or even months, in some cases. It is the military, you know. The paperwork doesn't exactly move quickly.
Say Dragging? Did you know that these things can be handled on a company/battery level? Did you know that you can break these rules and that your CO (and sometimes your Top, if the CO passes the buck) can decide to not elevate it to battalion/brigade level (and the equivalent, for other branches of the military), Article 15 you, and lock you down to the barracks, and even take your civvies and lock them up? All without a DFR. Were you aware of that? Have you been in the military Dragging? Have you worked in a JAG office?
The subject is deserter. You cannot file charges unless a DFR Packet was submitted.
