When unemployment rates for themselves skyrocket, they make a lot of noise.

Many of the older folks at the town meetings were worried their government benefits would be affected - that they earned their benefits but those "other" people are freeloaders. "Don't socialize my Medicare!"
So now that they've involuntarily paid into Medicare for some forty years and the leftists have decided they want to cut half a trillion from it so they can go buy some new votes, can they simply get back what they paid into it (with interest of course)?
See, this way they don't have to free-load off your Medicare.
But the different groups' ways of grappling with these problems diverge. If this is supposed to build some sort of bond between the Tea Partiers and normal people, FAIL.

For most thats common sense.
Its why we buy life insurance and such to be able to cover whatever debt we might have when we die so our children arent left to pay for our debt and funeral expenses
People cant seem to grasp that same concept applies to the countries debt because it is the children and their children that will be paying the majority of this debt
What parent on here really wants their child to have to work more hours a week because the gov is taking more out of their check due to choices they made? We are leaving over 12 trillion dollars for our children to pay.
Name calling and insults are what they do when they don't have a legitimate argument.
The race card has destroyed the give and flow that used to exist on this form. Now every time I or another poster present facts, we're called intollerant and racists. The left is really scared and lashing out in a way I haven't seen since I was a child. I think it has a lot to do with losing control of the grass roots organizing that has always been the domain of the left.
