I am wondering why she used those words. Wouldn't a home country be the country you were born in or atleast one to who you swore allegiance to. Either way Kenya should be real happy to have a person who considers them his home country while he is president of another. Do you think Michelle mispoke or did she actually let the cat out of the bag on his actual birth place. I was never one to feel like I needed to see his birth certificate but after this I would like to just to put my mind at ease that we have a qualified president who is actually screwing up the country and we did not elect someone who was not an actual American born citizen. What do you think?

How many of American born Irish people think of their "home" country as Ireland? It doesn't mean that they are not Americans. It is just part of their historical identity. Even most all American Indians identify themselves as American Indians, not just Americans.
