Bush embarrassed me so much more often and in worse ways. What a relief it was when Letterman had to end his skit making fun of how stupid Bush often made himself look nearly every night.
I realize this is an old post, but why am I not surprised when ill-informed people take their cues from the likes of Letterman?
Talk about embarrassing. That's the pinnacle of embarrassment. Or it should be.
He acts more like a D-list celebrity on American Idol than he does a respected, dignified President. He disgraces the White House and our former great leaders who behaved as a World Leader should. No wonder the US is fast losing respect not just at home but the world over. He clearly doesn't care that he's ruining the US's reputation. It's bad enough he's trying to turn us in a pansy, socialist, impotent European-like country.
I really miss my old, grand America.
It is a very sad thing for sure. To see such a one-great office degraded like this.
