Today's anti-tax whiners and deserters are just cheap anti-american cowards who want a free ride on someone else's dime.

Did you read that Sanrene? So, this is nothing new.
Did you bother to read the article? It's not just the taxes, but the draconian anti-business regulatory rules implemented by the obama administration.

The point is the record number of citizens that will be surrendering their citizenship.

Giving up a US citizenship is not done lightly.

The libs said it would NEVER happen. They didn't think people would actually leave the US.

Just look at this thread..they think it's a static 500.
This 500 may just be the start.....

Every bill, every "wish", every new idea that comes out of DC ends with "tax the wealthy" and "no one making under $250K will be taxed".

Well..those folks have moved their money and now are moving themselves.

Besides that..the emerging countries is where it's at..they are growing and there's alot of opportunity there for the future so maybe they are just "following the money" so to speak.

So they are renouncing their US citizenship to go live in... gasp, a socialist nation with universal health care. I wonder if sanrene is aware that in Switzerland you are mandated to buy health care insure. Did you even read the article sanrene?

People leave the USA all the time. I don't care if a few more do. Plenty of others waiting in line to be citizens and take their place.
