the op doesn't know what he's talking about if that's what he means, since communism isn't statism, and your ventriloquizing suggests the same for you. his barely coherent rant doesn't suggest a very deep level of understanding of any of the issues involved.

You just convinced me that I don't understand some of what you were talking about. Do you have a great manner of enforcing communist thinking in the US without government to force it? Somehow that seems too much like statism, to me.

it depends on your grasp of communist thinking. fyi real communism is stateless, and has yet to be reached. if you mean statist, say statist. communism is a loaded term in american political discourse, and i love how people fall back on it when they just want to say something is "bad" but they don't actually know what in the world they're talking about. even real socialism would involve a decrease in the powers of the state, since the workers would own the means of production.

Apparently the century where we should blindly stop questioning the motives of those that hold power over us. And cease to use our constitutional right to free speech.
