Yes indeed they are. They're perfectly fine with having Saudi Arabia own their collective hive mind,...., er new network, yet scream and shout about mooslems.

That's tea bag logic for ya.

Yet they will never scream and shout for anything meaningful to fight for the American middle class.

"Virginia manufacturing plant will take its jobs to China, where making eco-friendly CFLs is cheaper.

Many of the innovations for greener light bulbs originated in the United States. The CFL was invented by GE engineer Ed Hammer in the 1970s after the energy crisis. Then Ellis Yan, a Chinese immigrant to the United States, streamlined their production. Yan brought their assembly back to China, where labor was cheaper.

As Yan explain to the Post, he would consider bringing his production to the United States even though it would add 10 percent to the cost of doing business. This is due to the fact that consumers have expressed a desire for goods made in America."

Many tea party members despise unions. The tea party adores Wall Street and the ruling class giant corporations, why would they stand up to them? Tea Party mantra, the richer you are, the more we like you.

Eventually they're going to have to face reality.

Believing fairy tales will only get you so far in life.

"I'd add another to that fine list: Stop judging the tea party radicals around you. Sure, some may be extremists and racists, but lots of them are just frightened and angry. They're trying to reconcile what they "see" with what they're being told. Right now they believe a false story, but it hangs together and makes them feel sane in a seemingly insane world. Demogogues have always used these kinds of stories to exploit human fear. You can't blame people for believing a false story if they haven't heard the real one.

So don't blame the individuals, blame the story. Tell them a better one. The truth is a helluva story. But even the truth works better if it has a good hook."

Then where were the tea partiers when Bush was spending money Audit: Bush Can't Account for Billions Spent in Iraq and authorizing unconstitutional things like:

The point is, how exactly is the Tea Party accomplishing this? It is not accomplishing it at all. It's doing exactly what the OP listed, because other than vague rage which with the prodding by Dick Armey and the hired guns at Fox et al. got somewhat focused in early 2009 but which is actually a tedious constant with them, they have no clue what to do on a practical level. You're seeing this with the ridiculous "grassroots candidates" they emit.

Good questions...betcha you don't get many reasonable answers, though.

I love reading the fake sayings the extreme liberals on this forum make in order for their cause to look better.
Reduce the debt, smaller government. Those are 2 big issues with the Tea Party. Not to discount popular types like Beck and Palin but they are the Teocons latching on to the movement. Smaller government except for their causes. Go small, or go home.

Giant corporations are running the government via corrupt representatives and their buddies the lobbyists. It is true that you never hear the tea partiers speak out against these guys and these practices. I've never heard any of the Joe The Plumber crowd say anything about Campaign Finance Reform. Can't remember them mentioning anything about outsourcing of jobs and unfair trade agreements. How do they feel about tax breaks for the top 2% ? Really, these people are so damn dumb! Just mention the word "abortion", "gay", "Muslim", "union" "Obama" and they foam at the mouth. What a bunch of ignorant rejects.
