The Latin phrase "*** laude" means "with merit" and is not in any way shape or form a "dirty" phrase.

Knock off the nonsensical censorship. Annoyed.

Pretty funny that a "censor" can't even take the time to look up a word in a dictionary that he/she clearly isn't familiar with....

Looks like the board is programmed to substitute *** for that fearsome three letter word. Automatic censorship. I wonder what other words are censored?

cumlaude as in with praise
cumbersome as in awkward
cummerbund as in a wide waist band
cumulate as in to gather or pile in a heap
cumulonimbus as in a large spread out cloud
Cummins Inc. as in the company that is famous for big industrial engines

looks like they all passed....hmm....doseen't appear to be auto..

It looks like Greg and pegmomof4 put a space between the the two parts of the word like this(I'm not using stars so lets see if that is what caused the auto censor: *** laude

Yep, thats what did it. It was the space that caused the auto censorship. So obviously she wasn't censoring the word.

Of interest here in Union County, NC, the fourth teacher arrested for having sex with a student last year was arrested April of 2007. On the heels of that arrest, the athletic director of Weddington High School fled town, with two months left in the year. Other coaches have quit this year, and today, our principal resigned. The teacher arrested taught at Weddington High School, and remained in place after two DUI arrests. It was during that same time period that the sexual misconduct took place. How many red flags do we need to wave for someone in this district to acknowledge that this is a problem.
I believe that there is a connection between this teacher's arrest and the mass exodus of coaches, athletic director, and now principal at Weddington High School in Union County NC.
Any thoughts on how to find out the facts or expose this?

Pardon the duplicate post, I didn't think that it showed up in the quick reply, so I copied and pasted in a regular post.
