Jon Voight's been a vocal conservative for a llooonnng time. Right up there with Chuck Norris.
I just wish these Hollywood celebrities would keep their mouths shut and entertain us rather than always stuffing their politics down our throats.

Well then why don't you tell more then half of the DEMOCRATIC HOLLYWOOD CELEBRITIES, to keep their traps shout, They are more vocal then anyone, what is good for the goose in also good for the gander.
What is the problem here, you don't have a hollywood celebrity, boasting what a fine great president we have, no matter how he is screwing things up, and not the Change so many signed up for, oh too freaking bad. It is ok when so many celebrities boost his celebrity ratings, but one can't speak out against how they truly feel about him, well sorry about this, But Obama, is no different then any other President, worse if you ask me, and many many have come to their senses, and realize this. For your information Angelina and her Dad have talked now for quite some time, this just has not happened. Time the Media wake up about Obama also, you know little by little people are opeing up their eyes, and people don't like what they see.

Voight IS a good actor. He was a terrible father though -- and he has come very close to admitting that. So for some of you folks to sit here and praise him while ripping on his daughter is a bit silly don't you think? He is a big part of the reason she is messed up. But hey, as long as his outer-fringe politics fit hand-in-hand with yours, who cares about anything else!

I think you have that about right. Those on the Left who speak out, glover, penn and their ilk are America haters, whereas those on the right, like Voight, do not coddle and sympathize with dictators and despots.
He can at least make a coherent thought, isn't prone to ranting and doesn't have outright hatred for the country( unlike Sean Penn).
But its only one guys opinion and I agree that a celebrity doesn't have any more insight than an average person off the street. Unless they make it their business , like Ben Stein. He's at least analytical and not emotional in his opinions.

and many parents are part of the reason their kids are messed up, but that is ok if they are left wing, whether Hollywood or Happywood...Being a good parent doesn' make you a Republican or Democrat and being a bad one doesn't either. I don't think there are too many celebrities that could be classified as Angels of parenting. That doesn't mean they can't be of any party they want and believe in their party.
