Usually my vote goes to the Democratic candidate, however I have voted Republican. I guess my vote goes to whoever I agree with on the ISSUES, not the PARTY. I agree with Obama on abortion and gay rights, but disagree with him fiscally most of the time, for instance. I voted independently in the past election since I disagreed with each candidate on a variety of issues.

I hate both parties equally -- one is too far to the right, the other is spineless and ineffective. F*** mainstream politics.

I vote for the person, but am to the right of center. This isn't the same as a hard core conservative which I am not. Some of my family, including my husband, both son in laws and one of my granddaughters are really right wing.

It's called the Tea Party if you haven't heard.

A culmination of both liberals and conservatives sick of both parties not sticking to their principles.

The tea party leans more conservative however with less emphasis on the social aspects of governing than the conservative party.

Therefore the tea party is fiscally conservative, socially moderate.

Well it's not an on/off switch anyway

Every candidate that runs for election has different viewpoints on all the issues. The republican/democrat title is there for a generalization on where the candidate sits.

I vote libertarian on social issues, and centrist on economic issues.

Meaning, I don't want anyone, to tell anyone else what they can and can't do with their body, property, whatever.

On economic issues, I find regulation good for certain aspects of the market. I find high taxation bad, and some government programs good.

I didn't see anything on the poll I liked.

I consider myself more Libertarian than anything....but have voted Republican many times. My wife and I are very conservative on some issues, yet liberal on others. We believe in the free market in most cases.

I regard the poll as pretty accurate...

Once again u verify the truth about American politics...
Its volatility makes no politician safe... Victor today, unseated tomorrow...

And that is good...
