OK, I was tolerating and even a little amused by this whole tea party thing but now here we go down the slippery slope. The Okie tea party now wants to militarize to "protect freedom". You just knew this was coming. I want to see the photos of all the tea party upper middle class older white dudes all attempting to stand at attention and go to parade rest.

I watched a spokesman on Hardball the other afternoon.

He said, that if they have a militia, that the federal government will respect them. When Matthews asked if what he meant, was armed resistance to the government, he said no, just that if they have a armed militia the government will respect them.

What the hell else could they mean by that?

It is our Constitutional right to form well regulated malitia's.

The problem with the left is that they do not know that we are a nation of laws, which protect us from the tyranny of the majority.

Several states have such official state militias, though the degree to which the states take them seriously varies from state to state.

The Constitution also provides that the President is the Commander of the Army, Navy and the Militias of the several states.
That would be President Obama

That's scary, even though you're wrong. We the People are provided the freedom to form a well regulated malitia.
