A white 23-year-old graduate student was targeted because the Denver Crips gang wanted to rob a “white” person and Graham “looked like he might have money,” according to the affidavits. (Dead) Denver Metro Gang Task Force members say the Crips were targeting white individuals for robberies for about six months before Graham’s death. Police say the gang was responsible for robbing, assaulting and attacking as many as 26 caucasians during that time.”

Last night, police in Columbia arrested two Mizzou students for allegedly putting cotton balls outside a black cultural center there. (An anonymous tip led to the arrest, the Missourian reports.) The actual charge is tampering, but it’s being pursued as a hate crime, which means it’ll also be treated as a felony case. The incident, which happened Friday, has led to public meetings and promises from school officials to find the people responsible.
This was not a hate crime?
On Halloween, three white girls approached a haunted maze in the backyard of a home in Long Beach, California. A group of a dozen black boys, according to newspaper accounts, began taunting them. The boys grabbed their crotches, asking, “Are you down with it?” The girls went through the maze, but when they returned to the front yard, the boys were waiting to taunt them again. Then they heard another male voice declare, “I hate white people.” “White *******,” others shouted. The girls started to leave, but a mob of about 30 blacks, including young girls, gathered and pelted them with pumpkins and lemons. “We hate white people,” they hollered, “f–king white people.” When the defenseless girls tried to flee, the mob attacked in full force, beating and stomping the first victim to the ground. When she tried to fight back, a black man smashed her head with a skateboard, then hit her again when she was on the ground, unconscious. The mob kicked her anyway. When one friend tried to rescue her, the mob swarmed, punched her until she dropped, then stomped, and kicked her on the ground. She received 12 facial fractures and severe damage to one of her eyes. The third girl also tried to help, but the mob beat her to a pulp—again, kicking and stomping her when they got her on the ground.
The nine black youths who beat three young white women have now been sentenced by a Juvenile Court judge, and there's only one problem. While these "kids" could have killed their victims, the judge slapped them on the wrists lightly and sent them home. Astoundingly, after finding the nine defendants guilty of intent to cause bodily harm, with hate crime enhancements, the judge then reversed direction and gave them probation? A tenth youth was acquitted.
So throw cotton balls in front of a building and get hate crime charge... then beat 3 young ladies down and get a slap on the wrist?

Of course it does and yes, it is true. How would you know? You were born here... you already have your opinion about this. I wasn't born here and can't help but noticing that there's a lot of negative talk about white males. The thread isn't about if it also happens to other groups or not.

By your reasoning I should hate every male in my family, and wish them harm because women were not allowed to vote at one time. Funny thing is, my husband had nothing to do with that, so sorry not going to "make him pay" for someone elses wrongs.
I have never discriminated against any race. When I was 16 I worked in the watermelon fields with people of all colors. There was no issues between us at all, and we made the job fun. That was the early 80's.
I have lost too many job opportuties to count because some high school graduate minority got an equal opportunity hire over me. I roll with the punches and move on... that is what mature adults do.

The rightists three emotions: Hate, Envy, Anger. They are so immersed in them that they stupidly think everyone hates as much and as easily as they do....hate is always their first instinct...how pathetic...
NO where did I say I hated anyone...so that makes some posters liars.
Disagreeing is not "hate". Advocating understanding others is not "hate"....
It is perfectly okay to have a gay, transgendered, black, hispanic, eskimo, dwarf, or womens rights parade.. The government will even sponsor the event. It has become taboo in the extreem to claim to be a straight hetrosexual man. If we had a parade, we would be arrested.
My opinion... if you want to be gay, go ahead and shut up and be gay.. if you want to be bi, then go ahead shut up and be bi.. if you want to be straight, then go ahead shut up and be straight..
And nobody that matters realy gives a flying "fig" what colour, religion, gender, or orientation you are. Just live you life the way you want it.. Don't stuff it down my throat, because I couldn't care less what you do in your own home. If you want to stand up scream and wave your weiner around in public, then you get arrested just like I would.

I have to disagree that only straight white men face discrimination. I do agree that normal straight men of all races face discrimination, way more than women, homosexuals, and "men" who hate their own gender.
Normal heterosexual men are faced with a lot of double standards.
Feeling discriminated/or persecuted and being discriminated/persecuted are two different things. They might feel they are, but they are not. Not even close.
