Again, simple question,
Can conservatives talk about politics without referring to "death"?

Here's a few phrases that they use:
Stop the bill = Kill the bill
Stop Obamacare = Kill Obamacare
Government is going to screw us over = Government is going to cut our throats
End of life planning = Death panels

That's just a few of them.

I don't think #1/#2 (they're pretty much the same thing) are all that unusual to politics in general, not just one side or the other.

#3 I'm not all that familiar with, unless you are referring to the thread about John Paul Jones....

#4 I think was and is utter nonsense. Scare tactics. Whatever you want to call it.

Anyway, I'm still of the general opinion that death imagery isn't all that unusual....status quo for the political arena. That's just my off-the-cuff opinion without doing any research into past campaigns and such.
