Why is this considered a subject so taboo, that black leaders, politicians, black people in general do not want to face it. Slavery, Jim Crow laws and racism, discrimination have absolutely nothing to with it. Its a culture that is
vile, dysfunctional and killing are young black men, speak up take the blinders off, remove the cemented chips on your shoulders.

I agree with you, I think it's a huge problem. But... I don't think that people are not talking about it. I do hear people in the spotlight talk about it here and there.

If they were talking about it a lot though they would probably be trying to find a way to blame it on the white people, that somehow we are creating that aggression and forcing them into it. I could see them saying something like that.

Plus, I think there's a lot of people in the country that don't mind blacks killing blacks. It only becomes a problem if they are killing whites. I could be wrong, but it seems that way.

Oh my haven't you heard the new left wing rant? It's all the rage in our "higher" education. The White Man is responsible for all racism and misery in the world Why they have to tax the white man for what?...being white. My daughter had to sit through a whole discourse on just how much the white man must pay for being white.

Now don't you go thinking it was black people spewing this new left wing radical lunacy, it was white men and white women.

Black folks are talking about black on black crime. We're marching, we're mentoring our kids, we're being role models. Ya'll just have selective hearing and sight.

Besides why do we have to show anything to you? I never hear white "leaders", politicians or regular white folks talk specifically about white on white crime. And yes it does exist. And yes it's often violent.

And I have all the respect for those who do. There are many blacks that go "Conspiracy Theory" on whites and blame whites for bringing drugs into black neighborhoods to turn them all into addicts and keep the black man down kind of thing....... It's frightening to hear that some really believe that and that some people can completely discount any personal responsibility.

I think Bill Cosby said it very well......

Subject: Can't Blame White People by Bill Cosby

They're standing on the corner and they can't speak English.

I can't even talk the way these people talk: Why you ain't, Where you is, What he drive, Where he stay, Where he work, Who you be...

And I blamed the kid until I heard the mother talk. And then I heard the father talk.

Everybody knows it's important to speak English... except these knuckleheads.

You can't be a doctor with that kind of crap coming out of your mouth. In fact you will never get any kind of job making a decent living.

People marched and were hit in the face with rocks to get an education, and now we've got these knuckleheads walking around.

The lower economic people are not holding up their end in this deal.

These people are not parenting. They are buying things for kids. $500 sneakers for what? And they won't spend $200 for Hooked on Phonics.

I am talking about these people who cry... when their son is standing there in an orange suit.

Where were you when he was 2? Where were you when he was 12? Where were you when he was 18?

And, how come you didn't know that he had a pistol? And where is the father? Or who is his father?

People putting their clothes on backward: Isn't that a sign of something gone wrong?

People with their hats on backward, pants down around the crack, isn't that a sign of something? Or are you waiting for Jesus to pull his pants up?

Isn't it a sign of something when she has her dress all the way up and got all type of needles piercing going through her body?

What part of Africa did this come from? We are not Africans. Those people are not Africans; they don't know a thing about Africa. With names like Shaniqua, Taliqua and Mohammed and all of that crap, and all of them are in jail.

Brown or black versus the Board of Education is no longer the white person's problem. We have got to take the neighborhood back.

People used to be ashamed. Today a woman has eight children with eight different 'husbands' -- or men or whatever you call them now.

We have millionaire football players who cannot read.

We have million-dollar basketball players who can't write two paragraphs.

We as black folks have to do a better job. Someone working at Wal-Mart with seven kids saying ... you are hurting us.

We have to start holding each other to a higher standard. We cannot blame the white people any longer. It is not for media or anyone of this time anymore to say whether I'm right or wrong.

It is time, ladies and gentlemen, to look at the numbers. Fifty percent of our children are dropping out of high school. Sixty percent of the incarcerated males happen to be illiterate. There's a correlation.

Tell the media to stop asking me what I think about people who don't believe what I'm saying or feel that I'm too harsh or feel that I'm just running my mouth because I'm old.

Seventy percent of the teenagers pregnant happen to be African American girls.

Don't ask me to soften my message.

Good grief - I don't know when Bill said all of this or if it was an article, but he went up ANOTHER notch in my book! Unfortunately, I think only a black man could say these things....and the problems above break the race barrier. I don't care if you're purple and from Mars - everyone should be held to the same standard. Think about the Ebonics fiasco in California - to emphasize African roots? Then why are we Irish not having Irbonics to emphasize our Irish roots? Because we aren't any more connected to Ireland than anything - that was long ago and far away.

White kids, black kids, Mexican kids - the deterioration of the family is more the problem than anything else.....just my 2 cents.....

Don't bring ebonics into this LOL. The teachers were the ones learning it so they could teach the kids standard English better.
