According to an article yesterday, a VAT is not even being considered.

What do you know that the rest of the world does not?

Here it is from Yahoo! (I purposely avoided non-lefty sites so the libs wouldn't start crying about bias):

Obama suggests value-added tax may be an option - Yahoo! News (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100421/ap_on_bi_ge/us_obama_tax - broken link)

On 4/21 Obama said "it was on the table".

I'm ready..bring them all on. I'm out for early retirement in another 1.5 years so I'll be poor and get to reap ALL THE BENEFITS.

"I want to get a better picture of what our options are" translates into 'I Vant a VAT'?

The Democrats highly skilled at making the poor, poorer. I wonder how all those looking for their obamacash that never showed up will feel when the price of EVERYTHING goes up making their life even more miserable.

One more step for commie hussein obammie to make a more dependent class of sheeple.
