How many of you guys are addicted to CD? If not addicted, what motivates you to post regularly here at CD?

I do about 80% reading of others people's posts, and about 20% of posting my own opinions.

I enjoy seeing the opinions of other people. It is a great insight into the pulse of America. CD offers the priveledge of annonimity for its users. You will see opinions posted here that the average person does not have the guts or moral fortitude to expose in the workplace or general public. We are all sensitive to the opinions that people we are exposed to in everyday contact have of us. CD is a place where we dont have to be worried about losing friends because of our opinions on everyday matters.

I visit CD almost every day. I do not post every day, though. I only take the time to post if there is an issue that really grabs my attention, or to respond to a post that I can't help but respond to.

My ultimate goal, from the day I started to now, is to ensure my rep points exceed my number of posts. I want my opinions to be favorable to others on CD, regardless if we have differing points of view. I give credit where it's due, and I hope for the same respect from other posters. Just because I may not agree with a particular post does not mean I cannot appreciate the individuals opinions, or the guts to express them.

This is a fun site. I'm proud to be a member of this online community.
